I am the former pastor of the Tallahassee Biker Church and have been working the in the field of mental health for the past 37 years.  I have 20+ years in administration.   I am recently married to a wonderful woman who epitomizes the nature of Ruth in the bible and between us we have three daughters and two sons.

I grew up part of the my life as a military brat having moved frequently and the other half of my growing up as a preacher's kid.   My father retired as  an E-9, CSM having served his entire career in the US Army, first with the signal corps and then with ASA and NSA.  He retired and went to seminary at Southwester in Fort Worth, Texas.  He then served churches in several parts of the US.  My mother is a Sicilian  from Lawrence, Ma and taught my brother, sister and I about family, love and cooking.  She could also swing a good wooden spoon and paddle.

I tell you all that because they are the backbone of who I am.  When you grow up moving around (I have lived in 25 places now) you grow up knowing mostly family.  I don't know anyone I was in grade school with, childhood friends are remembered but lost to time and space and in fact I only a know a few people I graduated with.   Thanks to Facebook I have connected with a some of them.  Relationships are to be cherished, honored and nurtured.  I hope that I have learned how to be a friend,  because I cherish all my friends and family now.
